Our site had some technical problems… we had to change our hosting. I hope downtimes are gone:)

  1. I couldn’t log on to FB homepage today. I am a new member, and got error notice from Internet Explorer “incompatable browser”.

    Any suggestions to correct this problem?

    I am currently using latest version of IE 5.2 for Mac.

    I thought I was the only one. I have an old computer running on win 98. I’ve been a member since Jan. Everything was fine until this week. Now I can’t do anything but log on. I can’t send messages, post on walls, cofirm friends or update status. This sucks. Will someone help me. I’ve tried everything I’m using Explorer 6 with all updates. I can’t afford a better PC. :( What should I do?

I thought i am the only one having problems in opening the site, Could someone please tell me of how or what are the possibilities to retrieve facebook (if needed) I am just starting to enjoy exploring constant communication with my friends and family on this sites. Hopefully will get a quick solution from facebook site ASAP.

  8. hey me too i have an old pc i’ve been a memeber for a while but now i cant even log in. i tried changing my settings by activating scripting but it didnt work .. pls help i’am so out of touch with my mates

  9. my facebook does not work on either one of my 2 computers. i can log in and look at profiles and pictures, but when i bress buttons like “confirm” “reject” “post” “send” etc. nothing happens.
    however, my account works perfectly when i log onto facebook via a friend’s computer.

  10. Hi, i am using a PC, window xp Pack2, and using a browser I.E + Firefox. When i went to facebook today (morning) it kept on saying that it couldn’t display the page at all! its was as if the page didn’t exist. This was on Firefox. So i went to my I.E browser and the same thing! It couldn’t find the page. I was running on a wireless network! and it says the signal is excellent! Is facebook under repair or something? or is because the country i am in (Thailand) as blocked it?! pls let me know! Thanks

    I can log in..& everything… but when i want to see all mi information…where it says “your name” the “mini-feed”….all of that…
    it starts charging at the end….
    so that leaves me… al my mini-feed at the end…

    HELP!

  12. Last night I logged on to FB and noticed that some of my apps were missing and some apps had things on it that I didn’t put there. This morning some of the apps are back but not all. What’s up? What do I do?

  17. Ive got the same problem i cant log into my facebook account either.Ive tried firefox still dont work ive got so many messages to read and cant access them its proper doing mi head in. Has anyone got a solution that works.I can log in from my mates computer its so frustration please help anyone

  19. Please help!
    Everytime i try to reply to facebook email, post a comment on someones page or even confirm a persons friend request i click the button and nothing happens.I can type in the box but when I click to send the words “errors on page” appears in the bottom left of my screen. This only started to occur 3 days ago. I have emailed facebook but havnt had a response. Im running XP SP2, IE7. Ran Firefox and still had same problem. Please Help!

  20. Problem solved.
    After much googling I found the issue was the fact that activeX controls seemed to be playing havoc with the buttons I mentioned above. I disabled all the activex controls in tools->manage add ons, and restarted the computer. After restarting visiting different websites requested that I tured only some of them on. The couple that I turned on allowed me to access facebook with no errors on page and everything working fine. I apologise for my description as I don’t work in IT and have little idea about computers and their OS these days hehe..

    Although it refers to Mozilla, it worked doing somthing similar in IE7. I also installed the new JAVA 6-3 :)

  21. Hi ..i was using face book and every thing was great but yesterday i’ve tried to log in but when i type the http://www.facebook.com this msge appears ..i don’t know what is the problem ???
